Sofia Snyder is a Los Angeles based independent film producer, filmmaker and production coordinator. She has over a decade of experience in film and media production, starting her career at National Geographic Channel and most recently lending her expertise to feature films including Crime 101 (2026), Good Fortune (2023), Rebel Moon (2023), Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022), Being the Ricardos (2021) and Licorice Pizza (2021).
She studied film production at American University in Washington D.C. and FAMU International in Prague. With a love of collaboration Sofia is passionate about supporting emerging filmmakers with highly personal stories that explore the pressures of society and the complexities of family and community. She’s produced over ten short films that have screened at festivals including Tribeca Film Festival, Palm Springs International Shortsfest and more.
